3M 425 aluminum foil tape is an aluminum tape which combines a 3 mil nominal dead soft aluminum foil backing with a transparent acrylic adhesive. 425 aluminum foil tape has a very low moisture vapor transmission rate making it a good sealant. This tape is flame resistant and also offers excellent reflection of heat and light. 425 tape offers ideal properties for long serviceability life both indoors and outdoors and can be certified to meet L-T-80C.
