Alodine 1132 Touch-N-Prep Pen also known as Bonderite M-CR 1132 is designed to save labor, material and time when applying a dry-in place military specification approved chromate conversion coating for touch-up applications. Its proper use also reduces worker contact to chromating solutions and waste, such as rinse water generated from a chromating process. Before starting the application procedure it is necessary to become familiar with the mechanics of the pen itself.

Alodine 1132 is not certified to MIL-DTL-5541 – which is the process specification for chemical conversion coatings on aluminum and aluminum alloys. The MIL-DTL-5541 references the qualified products list (QPL) on MIL-DTL-81706, Class 1A and Class 3, Form VI, Method D for Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys Only.
