PR-1422 class B fuel tank sealant is a 2 part dichromate cured polysulfide compound. It has a service temperature range from -65F to 250F. PR-1422 class B fuel tank sealant is designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. Once cured, this sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to aviation gas and jet fuel. In uncured form, this material has low sag and is suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. Material cures at room temperature and has excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates.
PACKAGING OPTIONS: PR-1422 class B Fuel Tank Sealant is available in the following application life B 1/2 (1/2 hour) and B2 (2 hours), in a two-part Semkit package and two-part can kit. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Mix according to the ratios indicated in the application properties section. Mix Part A and Part B separately to uniformity, then thoroughly mix entire contents of both parts of the kit together taking care to avoid leaving unmixed areas around the sides or bottom of the mixing container.Storage Life: The standard storage life of PR-1422 Class B in a Semkit package or can kit is at least 9 months when stored at temperatures between 40℉ (5℃) and 80℉ (27℃) in original, unopened containers.
