02-GN-089 Green Epoxy Primer is a quick dry high solids, chemically cured primer.
02-GN-089 Green Epoxy Primer is compatible with MIL-PRF-85285 polyurethane topcoats and provides corrosion, chemical and solvent resistance for the protection of military aircraft exteriors.

Product Compatibility: 02GN089 Green Epoxy Primer is compatible with these topcoat specifications: DMS 2115, MIL-PRF-85285, MIL-PRF-22750 + MMS 420

Surface Preparation and Pretreatments: Apply 02-GN-089 Green Epoxy primer over clean, dry, intact aluminum and composite surfaces. Treat aluminum surfaces with materials conforming to MIL-C-5541 or equivalent.
Mix ratio (by volume): 02GN089 (base component) 3 parts : 02GN089CAT (catalyst component) 1 part
Instructions for Use: Stir or shake the base component (Part A) for no more than 5 minutes. Slowly add the catalyst component to the base component. Mix by hand stirring, paint shaker or mechanical mixing. Do not shake or mix for longer than 10 minutes. Constant agitation during spray application is recommended.
Note: It is important to condition the paint for 24 hours prior to mixing by placing all materials in the shop or hangar, with ambient temperatures between 13° and 35°C (55° to 95°F). The minimum temperature of the paint components should be 13°C (55°F) prior to mixing.
