464-3-1 White Epoxy Primer is a two-component, sandable, composite surfacer. Designed to provide a durable smooth surface ready for topcoat.
Surface Preparations/Conditions: Surface pretreatment is an essential part of the painting process. Follow the specification requirements for cleaning and pretreatment application, and refer the the Technical Data sheet for more information.
Mix Ratio: 3 parts Base 464-3-1 : 1 part Curing Solution CA-142 and as needed 0-0.54 thinner TL-52
Instructions for Use: Stir or Shake to uniformly disperse all pigment. Add curing solution. Stir the catalyzed mixture thoroughly.
Induction Time 30 Minutes
Pot Life 5 hours
Shelf life: 24 months per AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings commercial specification. Specification requirements may impact shelf life. Refer to container label for specific shelf life information.
Note: Many factors impact coating application. It is recommended to use test panels for optimizing the performance and appearance of the coating.
