Hentzen 04658AUX/04600CHA Zenthane® Plus Polyurethane High Solids Topcoat in Gloss Gray, Fed. Std. 595 Color #16515 Per MIL-PRF-85285, Type I
Zenthane® Plus is Hentzen Coatings’ trade name for a unique line of two-component moisture curing polyurethanes. Zenthane® Plus polyurethane is able to form films free of micro-blisters, especially in hot and humid conditions while maintaining a long pot life of several days. This topcoat is on the QPL for MIL-PRF-85285 and MMS 420.
HANDLING & STORAGE
Store away from direct sunlight and heat. Freezing is not harmful if reheated gently to room temperature prior to use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Component A is supplied in a container that is only three quarters full and should be thoroughly agitated prior to blending. After agitating Component A, mix 3 volumes of Component A to 1 volume of Component B and mix the two Components Well. The material is now ready for use. No reduction is necessary. If thinning is required, use urethane grade solvents only. Consult Hentzen’s Aerospace Team for more information. Note: This product can also be activated with 04600CHA-FG or 04600CHA-SG for slower drying finishes.
PRECAUTIONS & SAFETY
- Protect from atmospheric moisture prior to application. Moisture will cause the material to skin and eventually gel.
- Do not spray without adequate ventilation.
- Read all container labels.
- Read Material Safety Data Sheet.
CLEAN-UP
Clean equipment immediately after use with 00053SST-1 or suitable urethane grade solvent.
